Info and Guidelines
Source
Hello and welcome to the roleplaying group. First off we mainly set our roleplays in the world of the show My Little Pony, we might bring in characters from other sources but be aware that it is rare.
Here are a few terms to know.
Bio = A profile on a character detailing important traits about them i.e. name, age, gender, appearance, backstory
GM = "Game Master," the person who is leading/running an arc or game (also known as DM or "Dungeon Master")
OOC = "Out Of Character," a.k.a. anything not directly adding to an ongoing RP
OC = "Original Character," a.k.a a character that isn't part of the show
So onto some of our rules.
And Finally
Have fun! We made this so we could have a fun place to roleplay and chat. We're hoping you can have that experience, so please take into account the rules above and enjoy yourself. We won't judge you if you back out of anything at any time.

So onto some of our rules.
- Be nice, respectful, and courteous, and don't cause drama! We won't tolerate you if you act like a jerk. It should be a given, anyways. If you want to argue with anyone, it's not recommended to do it at all, but please take it somewhere else if you're going to do it at all.
- Ask before using someone else's OC. Whether it be a lookalike, doppelganger, clone, or the actual character themselves. People have a right to their own OCs and what they do, so they have to trust you with their characters and stories if you want to use them. Please, please, please respect people's wishes for their stories and characters.
- Talk with the GM before doing anything that may interfere with their arc. If you have an idea or plan that you're not sure is suitable in the GM's rules, negotiate with them. This is the most helpful way to make a roleplay work.
- Stick to an organized syntax/method of roleplay. It's easier for everyone if you use similar syntax to everyone else. Asterisks or italics for actions and settings, dialogue prefaced with the character who's saying it (although some circumstances you don't have to, such as only having one OC or being named after your OC), etc. It helps everyone understand each other and be able to roleplay properly. Also, please don't interrupt others' RPs. An example would be *Belle trots over and waves* Belle: Hello everyone.
- Try to refrain from profanity and foul language. We don't have anything against it, but Disqus will automatically put your comment in pending and we'll have to approve it.
- Use something to indicate OOC talk. When you want to say something whether it's clarification or a remark, etc., use a symbol or something to indicate that you are. An example would be //This is an OOC comment.
- Keep your scenes PG-13. Most of us don't have problems with explicit stuff but we want this to be a place where anyone can join and be comfortable.
And Finally
Have fun! We made this so we could have a fun place to roleplay and chat. We're hoping you can have that experience, so please take into account the rules above and enjoy yourself. We won't judge you if you back out of anything at any time.

OOC Discussion
Source
So wanted to get people's feedback on how they feel on a few things, mainly on when we should make a formal switch from the disqus channel to here and how we should number posts once we do switch over. Let me know what you think along with any other ideas to help make this a great place.
